Last week, our Managing Director, Turlough Ó Cinnéide, completed a short documentary on the monks at Glenstal Abbey with the Glenstal Abbey School transition year students interested in filmmaking. One of the young students, Jack Given, directed the film alongside Turlough.
Glenstal Abbey is located in Murroe, Co. Limerick and was founded in 1927 by the Benedictines. Mónos, the Greek word for alone, is a story of faith and its meaning for the men who live within the abbey. In this short film you will hear their unique approach to life as well as advice and words of comfort. Dolmen Films is thankful for the monks of Glenstal as well as the school for allowing us access to the monastery and their stories.
A Glenstal Production in association with Dolmen Films.
